"The Great Baikal Trail Association" is an umbrella organization of many, many members with offices around the world, all of them committed to the sustainable development of the Baikal region. This page is dedicated to the Irkutsk office of the GBT. For the Ulan-Ude GBT site (in English and Russian), click here.

The Great Baikal Trail is a major international initiative to protect the world's largest lake (Baikal) and sustainably develop the region. We do this primarily by building a giant network of ecotrails. For more about the Great Baikal Trail, click here.
