Permissions and responsibles of volunteers

Volunteers are responsible for

  1. Arriving at the meeting point
  2. Paying for transportation to the first work site.
  3. Carrying out the orders of the GBT leadership, the crew-leaders and the project-leaders.
  4. Listening to the safety instructions and using them.
  5. Following the daily schedule.
  6. Informing the crew-leader about one’s one health.
  7. Carefully using the equipment. The volunteer is financially responsible for deliberately-caused damage.
  8. Leaving with the rest of the group at the end of the project.

 

Volunteers have the right to

  1. Inform GBT about the dates of his/her arrival.
  2. Expect help with visa registration (for foreigners only).
  3. Expect insurance against tick-borne encephalitis if (s)he does not already have it.
  4. Require work materials, the first aid kit, and safety equipment (gloves, helmets) from the organizers.
  5. Expect meals to be organized during the project.
  6. Expect cultural activities to be organized.
  7. Leave the project before it concludes in the case of medical emergency, sickness, accident, etc.
  8. Make suggests and requests of the leadership.
