4 Day tour down the Turka river (The Pribaikalsky region of Buryatia). The rafting takes 2 days of the tour. We'll go rafting 120 km. (75 miles) down a swift winding mountain river with several waterfalls This is a unique chance to see the Siberian taiga and virgin nature. You can come across wild animals: coats, foxes, bears; birds ducks, swans. A great place for fishing grayling. All this will make you tour an unforgettable holiday. This route is of the 2nd category of difficulty. Anyone in general good health with a calm and flexible attitude can enjoy this expedition. The participants should have all the necessary equipment for hiking (tents, sleeping bags, sleeping pads etc.)
1 Day. Leave Ulan-Ude by off road vehicle, go to the starting point of the tour 300 km (187,5 miles). Overnight in tents.
2-3 Day. Rafting down the Turka river.
4 Day. Departure to Ulan-Ude
Participants should enjoy camping in rugged conditions (backpacking style) for 2 nights.
We keep enough flexibility within the schedule as to provide detours in particularly interesting places.
